How it works

How the referral line works

One phone number, one conversation, and then the decision is yours.

Say the street address first. Calling soon after a loss helps.

The call

  1. You dial

The call connects through a call-routing service to an independent restoration contractor. There is no form and no email to send.

  2. You are asked about the loss

Expect questions about the address, the source of the water, the rooms affected and whether the water is still running.

  3. The contractor explains the work

They tell you what they would do, whether they serve your address and how scheduling works.

  4. You decide

You can hire them, ask for a written scope first, or hang up and call someone else.

What the site is

The site is an advertising and referral service. It runs the web pages and the phone number and passes calls on.

It does not employ the contractor, supervise the work, set prices or hold licenses of its own. The referral disclosure says this in full.

What the contractor is

The contractor is an independent business with its own license, insurance, equipment and terms. It decides whether to take the job.

You are the one who verifies them. The hiring guide lists the questions and the lookups.

Calls may be recorded

Calls through the line may be recorded and monitored so that billing disputes and complaints can be settled. The privacy policy explains what is kept.

If you do not want a call recorded, say so at the start.

When to call earlier

Calling sooner after a loss helps because water spreads into materials the longer it sits. The site cannot promise when anyone will answer or arrive.

Water is still moving. Call about it now.

Describe what happened, give the street address, and the call is routed to an independent restoration contractor.
