Say the street address first. Calling soon after a loss helps.

What callers ask
Is this site a restoration company?
No. It is a referral line. Calls are routed to an independent contractor, and the site does not employ or supervise anyone. See the referral disclosure.
What does the call cost?
The site does not charge callers. Any price comes from the contractor, who should explain it before you agree to work.
Will someone come out today?
That depends on the contractor. Calling early improves the odds of a quick schedule, but the site cannot promise a time.
Which towns does the line cover?
Missouri City, Sugar Land, Stafford, Pearland, Fresno and Arcola in Texas. See the service areas.
Does insurance pay?
It may. Texas Department of Insurance says sudden and accidental water release is generally covered and a continuous leak generally is not. See insurance basics.
Is flood damage covered by my home policy?
TDI says most home policies exclude flooding. Read water damage or flood.
Should I call my insurer first?
Report the loss as soon as you can. TDI says most policies have filing deadlines. You can call both.
Who fixes the broken pipe?
A licensed plumber. The restoration contractor deals with the water damage, and the two jobs are separate. See burst and frozen pipes.
What about mold?
Texas licenses mold assessors and remediators through TDLR. See mold after water damage.
Who owns the pipe in my yard?
It depends on your water operator. Start with the pipe ownership guide.
Can a contractor waive my deductible?
No. TDI says it is illegal for contractors to waive it or help you avoid paying it.
Do you handle sewage?
The contractor you reach may. Mention it when you call. See sewage backup.
How do I verify a contractor?
Use the license lookups and the questions on the hiring guide.
